Before You Begin
Make sure your iGUIDE you wish to update has been published.
If you are adding new data to the iGUIDE make sure to collect the data for the update in advance. Ensuring you add any new scans to a new project on the PLANIX app.
If you are adding new data from your computer from Stitch, please make sure you export your project first before attempting the update request. For more information please visit our support page "How to Upload Projects with the R1" and review the section "Computer/Stitch Method"
How to Request an Update Via a Smart Device
If you are adding new panos/data to your iGUIDE
Step 1: Once you have finished taking your shots for the update, if you are using the PLANIX Pro make sure to export the project first. If you are using the R1 your project will already be on your smart device.
Step 2: Open up a browser on your smart device and go to manage.youriguide.com (the iGUIDE portal). Once on the portal login to your account.
Step 3: In the iGUIDE portal you will want to click on "My iGUIDEs", and then scroll down until you find the iGUIDE you wish to update.
Step 4: Click on the "Edit" button on the iGUIDE. This will take you to your iGUIDE Edit View page.
Step 5: On the left-hand side, or in the dropdown menu if you are on a phone, select the section named "Request an Update".
Step 6: From the Request an Update page select the option "I want to request an update".
Step 7: When prompted if you are adding new Stitch data select "Yes".
Step 8: When prompted "Which kind of change is the new Stitch data meant to show?", select any options from the following list that pretain to the update you wish to request. When you select an option you will be asked to give a short description in the text box.
Step 9: In the text box below "Upload Stitch data and include a detailed description of your request" add a short description of the update choices you made above.
Step 10: Press on the grey box that says "Drag and drop exported Stitch TAR or click here". This will open up your smart device's internal files. Using the search function on your smart device search for either the PLANIX folder, or the name of the project you wish to use the data from. If you find the PLANIX folder go into it to find the project folder. Once you have located the project folder you will want to go into it and locate the Export folder. Inside the export folder will be the stitch.tar file you want to select.
Step 11: Once the stitch.tar file has been selected you can press on the blue "Request Update" button. Please wait until the entire upload is finished before switching to a new screen.
If you are not adding new panos/data for your iGUIDE
Step 1: Open up a browser on your smart device and go to manage.youriguide.com (the iGUIDE portal). Once on the portal login to your account.
Step 2: In the iGUIDE portal you will want to click on "My iGUIDEs", and then scroll down until you find the iGUIDE you wish to update.
Step 3: Click on the "Edit" button on the iGUIDE. This will take you to your iGUIDE Edit View page.
Step 4: On the left-hand side, or in the dropdown menu if you are on a phone, select the section named "Request an Update".
Step 5: From the Request an Update page select the option "I want to request an update".
Step 6: When prompted if you are adding new Stitch data select "No".
Step 7: Select the appropriate options you wish to update in the list: "What other kind of update would you like to request?"
Step 8: In the text box that pops up add a short description of the update choices you would like to be made.
Step 9: Lastly, press the blue "Request Update" button to submit the update request.
How to Request an Error Correction Via a Smart Device
Step 1: Open up a browser on your smart device and go to manage.youriguide.com (the iGUIDE portal). Once on the portal login to your account.
Step 2: In the iGUIDE portal you will want to click on "My iGUIDEs", and then scroll down until you find the iGUIDE you wish to update.
Step 3: Click on the "Edit" button on the iGUIDE. This will take you to your iGUIDE Edit View page.
Step 4: On the left-hand side, or in the dropdown menu if you are on a phone, select the section named "Request an Update".
Step 5: From the Request an Update page select the option "I want to report an error".
Step 6: Choose from the list of options which error correction you wish to be fixed. You can choose multiple options, and for each option, you will need to write a short description of the error.
Step 7: Next you will choose the floors/buildings for where the corrections are located on the iGUIDE.
Step 8: Lastly, press the blue "Report Error" button to submit the error correction.
How to Request an Update Via a Computer
If you are adding new panos/data to your iGUIDE
Step 1: To request an update to an iGUIDE, first, open up the iGUIDE portal, navigate to the iGUIDE in question via the manage.youriguide.com portal and click the iGUIDE Details button.
Step 2: You will now see the option to Request an Update on the left-hand Quick Access toolbar. Select this within your iGUIDE to access the update request form.
Step 3: From the Request an Update page select the option "I want to request an update".
Step 4: When prompted if you are adding new Stitch data select "Yes".
Step 5: When prompted, "Which kind of change is the new Stitch data meant to show?" select any option from the following list that pertains to the update you wish to request. When you select an option, you will be asked to provide a short description in the text box.
Step 6: In the text box below "Upload Stitch data and include a detailed description of your request" add a short description of the update choices you made above.
Step 7: You can either drag and drop the exported stitch file to the grey box that says "Drag and drop exported Stitch TAR", or you can click on the box to open your computers files and select the exported Stitch TAR file that way.
Step 8: Once the file is selected you can press on the blue "Request Update" button to submit the request. Please wait until the entire upload is finished before switching to a new screen.
If you are not adding new panos/data for your iGUIDE
Step 1: Open up a browser on your computer and go to manage.youriguide.com (the iGUIDE portal). Once on the portal login to your account.
Step 2: In the iGUIDE portal you will want to click on "My iGUIDEs", and then scroll down until you find the iGUIDE you wish to update.

Step 6: Choose from the list of options which error correction you wish to be fixed. You can choose multiple options, and for each option, you will need to write a short description of the error.
Step 7: Next you will choose the floors/buildings for where the corrections are located on the iGUIDE.
Step 8: Lastly, press the blue "Report Error" button to submit the error correction.
