Accessing Stitch data through the Portal

Overview

Stitch data uploaded to the portal can be downloaded by operators within 14 days after the iGUIDE is published. To download the Stitch data, follow the steps below.

Before You Begin

• Ensure you have access to a published iGUIDE within the portal
• Ensure your iGUIDE was not published over 14 days ago 

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to your iGUIDE’s Stitch Data section and click the Download stored file button. This will initiate the download of the .tar file that is stored on the Portal

Step 2: Once the .tar file has been downloaded, it can be opened using Stitch. In Stitch, click the Load Project button and select the recently downloaded .tar file. Please note that if Stitch does not open the .tar file, it may be due to an outdated version of Stitch. Ensure you are using the latest version.

Step 3:The .tar file will now open in Stitch. You can make any necessary edits to the file. Once finished, click the Export button:

Step 4: A new folder will be created in the same location as the original .tar file. Open this folder and locate the export folder. Inside, you’ll find the stitch.tar file, which can be re-uploaded to the Portal.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Clicking "Download stored File" does not begin a download
Solution: Check to ensure your iGUIDE was published within 14 days prior to downloading. If it is over 14 days old, you can no longer download this stored file.
