Setting Up Your ION Directory Profile

Overview

Follow these step-by-step instructions in order to set up your business on the ION Directory. 

Before You Begin

  • Make sure you have a Google Business Profile with a physical business address.

Steps

Step 1: Go to ion.goiguide.com and click "Join ION Directory" 

Step 2: Click on “Become and ION Member” 

Step 3: Enter your business email address 

  •  Note: The business email must match your iGUIDE Portal account email 

Step 4: Click the secure link sent to your email to access your profile setup 

Step 5: Connect your Google Business Profile

  • Your profile must have a physical business address to maximize visibility.
  • Don’t have one? Create your Google Business Profile. 

Step 6: Complete your profile details 

  • Industry, service area, number of PLANIX camera systems, services offered 

Step 7: Submit for review — the iGUIDE team will verify before publishing

Creating a Banner and Adding a Logo

Step 1: Sign in to the iGUIDE Portal

Go to manage.youriguide.com and sign in to your account.

Step 2: Visit your user settings

On the top right of the page, click the dropdown arrow next to your name and click settings.

Step 3: Click to select your default banner

You will then be directed to the ‘Contact Details’ screen as shown below. Click where it says No default banner selected.

Step 4: Begin creating your default banner

Click ‘+Create new banner’. Proceed to complete the fields in the next step. To upload images, click where you can select logo image and select headshot image. The logo image is what will show up on the iGUIDE service provider map.

If, once you have selected either select headshot image or select logo image, you find you don't yet have any images to choose from, click on 'Upload more images'.

When uploading images, be sure to click the ‘save’ button when you are finished. 

Step 5: Finish your default banner

Review all the banner information and images, then click Save.

Q?: What if I don't have or want a Google Business Profile? 
A: You can still be added to the ION Directory, however you will need to contact the Support Team to be added. 

Q?: Why should I join the ION Directory? 
A: Being listed in the ION Directory means more potential business opportunities and better visibility for your services.
