Overview
Transferring R1 project data from a smart device to a computer lets you back up your work, open projects in Stitch or prepare them for updates. The right method depends on your device and computer pairing — iOS to MacBook, iOS to Windows, Android to Windows, or Android to MacBook.
This guide covers each combination step by step, plus quick troubleshooting if Stitch can't open the project or the PLANIX folder isn't visible.

- Have your smart device with the captured project, any required cables, a stable Wi-Fi network and the relevant transfer apps ready
- Confirm all scans for the project are complete before starting the transfer
