This section will go over the Edit View Page on the iGUIDE portal.

What is the Edit View Page?

The Edit View Page is the main location to make edits on a published iGUIDE. On this page you will be able to customize the name of the iGUIDE, how the iGUIDE 3D tour starts, customize the advance settings for the iGUIDE, turn on and off panos/floors/buildings, set the initial pano for the 3D tour, adjust the compass for the iGUIDE, etc. 

How do I find the Edit View Page?

In order to locate the Edit View page for your iGUIDE you can simply go to the "My iGUIDEs" section of the iGUIDE portal, find the iGUIDE you wish to edit, and press the blue "Edit" button. This will take you to the Edit View Page of your iGUIDE. 

Edit View Page Definitions

  • Title: The iGUIDE title is displayed at the top of the iGUIDE and identifies the property. When empty, it defaults to the property address.
  • Expiration Date: Set the expiration date of the View. After the expiration date, the View becomes locked and cannot be accessed publicly by the View link.
  • Start Options: Here there are a variety of options to choose from,
  • 3D Tour: Start in standard Tour mode 3D Tour:
    • Autoplay: Start in autoplay Tour mode:
    • Autoplay is a feature that automatically plays through a guided tour of the property without requiring user interaction. When enabled, it moves through selected panoramic images in sequence, providing a hands-free viewing experience
      • Note: The 3D tour autoplay is influenced by the order in which the panos are submitted via Stitch. If you wish to have a specific sequence of panos displayed during the 3D tour autoplay, set them in the desired order during the Stitch process prior to uploading to the Portal.
    • Gallery: Launch Still Image Gallery
    • Gallery - Slideshow: Launch Still Image Gallery in Slide Show mode
    • Video: Launch external Video mode
    • Video - *Autoplay: Launch external Video mode and start Video
    • Video - Autoplay > *3D Tour: Launch external Video mode and start Video. When the video is over, launch the 3D Tour
    • Video - Autoplay > 3D Tour - *Autoplay: Launch external Video mode and start Video. When the video is over, launch the 3D Tour in autoplay NOTE: *supports YouTube and Vimeo videos
  • Units: Set the default unit of measurement.
  • Viewer Color Scheme: Choose the colour scheme for the different room types in the iGUIDE Viewer.
  • PDF Color Scheme: Choose the colour scheme for the different room types in the pdf and/or the iGUIDE viewer.
  • Compass Angle: Adjust compass orientation. You will want to do this only if the default compass angle is incorrect or the compass is not shown.
  • Property Description: Add an optional description of the property. The property description appears on the Details tab in the iGUIDE viewer.
  • Custom Text for PDF: The custom text appears at the bottom of the PDF Floor Plans Property Details section. This text will be augmented with agent/brokerage information if iGUIDE uses an agent banner. Agent information will not be printed either if the custom text is empty or if no banner is selected for the iGUIDE. The custom text overrides the default custom text set in the iGUIDE Defaults page.
  • Embedded Video: Paste the URL of the YouTube (Or Vimeo) Video you want to feature in your iGUIDE. You may have an Unbranded, or  Branded video.
  • Protection: Enabling this option allows you to add/remove people who are allowed to see this iGUIDE View. The manager and editors always will have to view access. 

Options Breakdown 

  • Hide building/floor areas: Building and Floor areas will no longer be visible on the iGUIDE Viewer, on the PDF Floor plans, or in the iGUIDE Report.
  • Hide room areas: Room areas will no longer be visible on the iGUIDE Viewer, on the PDF Floor plans, or in the iGUIDE Report.
  • Hide room dimensions: Room dimensions will no longer be visible on the iGUIDE Viewer, on the PDF Floor plans, or in the iGUIDE Report.
  • Hide Total Interior Area when Exterior Area is Available: Total Interior Area will no longer be visible on the iGUIDE Viewer, on the PDF Floor plans, or in the iGUIDE Report. This requires that the Exterior Area is available.
  • Hide Premium iGUIDE objects in 3D Tour: Fixtures and appliances will no longer be visible in the iGUIDE interface. These objects will still be visible on the PDF Floor plans.
  • Hide PDF floor plans: The button to download the PDF Floor plans will no longer be visible on the iGUIDE interface. PDF Floor plans will no longer be downloadable from the iGUIDE Report.
  • Hide on-screen measure feature: The ruler icon used to activate the on-screen measurement tool will no longer be visible on the iGUIDE interface.
  • Hide Map (always): The Nearby map tab on the iGUIDE Viewer will no longer be visible. This will affect branded and unbranded iGUIDEs.
  • Hide Map (unbranded only): The Nearby map tab on the iGUIDE Viewer will no longer be visible. This will affect unbranded iGUIDEs only.
  • Show Pano Branding Image in the unbranded tour: The Pano branding image will be visible in unbranded tours. Unbranded tours do not show the Pano branding image by default.
  • Disable 3D Tour Autoplay: Disables the autoplay on the 3D Tour
  • Mute autoplay/slideshow music by default: The music that plays by default during autoplay and the slideshow will be muted.
  • Show help message on start: A help message will be displayed when the iGUIDE loads to give basic instructions for navigating the iGUIDE.
  • Disable VR (if available): The VR icon will no longer be visible on the iGUIDE interface if VR is available.
  • Disable Advanced Measurements (if available): Disables the Advanced measurement feature.
  • Include below grade in Total Area: Floors that are below grade will be included in the total area reported on the iGUIDE interface, PDF Floor plans, and the iGUIDE Report.
  • Append Measurement Diagrams to PDF (Alberta): Exterior wall measurements will be shown on a separate set of PDF Floor plans in addition to the standard PDF Floor plans.
  • Force branded iGUIDE only: The unbranded link available in the iGUIDE Report will be disabled.
  • Disable Tag List (if available): Disables the list of tags from the iGUIDE.
  • Zoom Floor Plan to Walls: Zooms in on the floorplan to fit the floorplan viewer window.
  • Always Report Washrooms/Bathrooms in Property Details: Enabling this option will enable the dimensions of all the washrooms/Bathrooms to be displayed in the Details tab.
  • Show Initial Banner Drop Animation: This will enable the banner drop animation as soon as an iGUIDE is viewed. 

3D Tour Editor

The 3D Tour Editor allows you to change labels, set the Initial Pano, modify the Wall thickness, turn panos on and off, turn floors on and off, create custom labels, customize which room measurements are viewable, and which rooms are included or excluded.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How come my edits did not save? 
A: When changing anything in the Edit View Page, make sure to press the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the screen.
