What is Microsoft SSO
Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to access the portal using their Microsoft account credentials instead of creating and managing a separate password.
When you log in via SSO:
- If your account already exists, you will be logged in.
- If you do not have an account, one is automatically created using your Microsoft email.
Microsoft acts as the authentication provider, meaning login credentials are managed externally and not within the portal.
Important Notes
- The email used for Microsoft SSO must match the intended portal email to avoid duplicate accounts. If emails do not match, separate accounts will be created
- Users logging in via SSO do not need to create or set a password. There is no password setup or confirmation step when using SSO
- Accounts created via SSO initially will not have operator permissions. You will need to reach out to our support team for assistance with this
