Changing your tour thumbnail on REA sites

This article explains how to change the room thumbnails that appear on realestate.com.au (REA) for your iGUIDE tour. These thumbnails power the room shortcut tiles on the property details page

How to set an initial pano within the iGUIDE portal 

  1. Look at the room thumbnail on the listing to help you find which pano is being used for the room thumbnail you wish to change. This is the pano you need to edit
    1. Log in to iGUIDE portal
    2. Choose the iGUIDE you wish to edit
    3. Choose "Edit default view"
    4. Choose "Edit" across from General settings
    5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page 
    6. Click on the pano you wish to edit
  2. Rotate the pano to the angle you want to set as the thumbnail for that room
  3. Click Set Initial Angle
  4. Repeat this for each room you want to update
  5. Click the blue Save button at the bottom to save your changes.
Once saved, your updated panos will appear as the room thumbnails on your REA sites. You do not need to re-submit the tour to REA; the thumbnails update automatically. Changes normally appear on REA within 2 hours (often sooner).

Important Notes

  • If the new angle does not update after refreshing your iGUIDE, try clearing your browser cache.
