Overview
This section will be focused on how to connect your smart device to your PLANIX Pro camera.
Before You Begin
- Make sure to fully charge your PLANIX Pro camera before shooting.
- Make sure to download and install the PLANIX App on your smart device
Steps
Step 1: Open the iGUIDE PLANIX App on your smart device
Step 2: Press the "+ New Device" button on the top right of the screen in the "Devices" section
Step 3: Power on the PLANIX Pro camera
- It may take the camera a few seconds to boot up. You will know it is ready to use once there are no flashing lights on the camera's base.
Step 4: Press "Manual Connection" and open up your smart device's Wi-Fi settings
Step 5: Look for your camera's Wi-Fi in available networks and attempt to connect to it
Step 6: The Wi-Fi name will look something like "PLANIX-0E5A5570.osc".
- Enter in the password for the camera's Wi-Fi
- The password for the Wi-Fi is on the bottom label of your device.
Step 7: Once connected to the Wi-Fi return back to the PLANIX App and press the "+ New Device" button in the "Devices" section.
Step 8: When you select + New Device while connected to the camera's Wi-Fi, the app will ask if you wish to add the device; select "Add Camera", and your system will be connected and ready to use!
