Overview
Once your PLANIX Pro is connected to a smart device, the Survey interface in the PLANIX app becomes your control center for capturing panoramic images, adding tags, aligning scans, and managing multi-floor projects. It puts every essential capture tool within easy reach.
The PLANIX Pro also uses SLAM technology, combining LiDAR data with previously captured scans to position the camera in real time, helping operators place each scan in the optimal location for accurate, automatic data alignment across the entire project.

What is SLAM?
SLAM tracks the camera's position relative to previous scans using LiDAR data. It helps operators predict how well future scans will align. Tracking activates after the first scan is completed. The camera's live position appears on screen only when "Show live LiDAR data" is enabled in the app.
