Overview
A pre-published iGUIDE is a tour that the drafting team has partially completed but cannot fully finish—usually because of missing data or uncaptured spaces. Instead of publishing incomplete work, the iGUIDE is held in a pre-published state until the user decides how to resolve the issue.
While in this state, any add-ons are paused, and the user is notified by email with details on what is missing and the steps needed to complete the iGUIDE.

What is Pre-Publishing?
- Pre-publishing occurs when the drafting team can complete part, but not all, of a submitted iGUIDE
- The iGUIDE is held in a pre-published state rather than being fully published
- Any add-ons attached to the iGUIDE are placed on hold until the pre-published state is resolved
Who Should Skip Pre-Publishing?
- Skipping pre-publishing is generally suited for professionals in Insurance & Restoration, Architecture & Remodel, or Facility Management, where capturing every space may not be necessary
- It is not recommended for Real Estate, since complete and accurate property reporting is essential and missing spaces should be reviewed carefully before publishing
How to Tell if an iGUIDE Has Been Pre-Published
- The user receives an email with details and an image explaining the reason for pre-publishing
- The email also outlines the next steps required to complete the iGUIDE
- The user can submit an updated stitch.tar file with the necessary adjustments—most commonly to capture a missed space
- Alternatively, the user can choose Publish as is, and the iGUIDE will be published in its current state
Skip Pre-Publishing Option
- Users who never want their iGUIDEs held in a pre-published state can enable the Skip pre-publishing option (automatically publish regardless of missing area/scans)
- This setting is found under iGUIDE Defaults, in the iGUIDE Processing category
- Once enabled, it applies to every iGUIDE created unless overridden by the banner settings
- With this option active, the system will automatically publish iGUIDEs as soon as the drafting team completes them
