This article explains how users can make simple edits to their projects within the PLANIX App, without being connected to their camera

What edits can be made
- Align, edit, or delete scans
Make basic corrections to your existing scans, including adjusting alignment, refining scan placement, or removing any scans you no longer need. These actions help you keep your project clean and accurate until you're ready to upload your data
- Create, edit, or delete tags
Add important identifiers or notes directly to your project while offline. You can create new tags, update existing ones, or remove those that are no longer relevant
- Add, edit, or delete floors
Manage your project’s floor structure without needing a live camera connection. You can add new floors, rename existing ones, or remove floors that are no longer part of your project design.
- Edit project names
Update project titles to reflect clearer naming conventions, client requirements, job numbers, or revisions
How to access offline editing
To access offline editing, you will want to follow the below steps:
- On your mobile app where the project was captured, head to the PLANIX App
- Head to the "Projects" section at the bottom of your screen
- Click on the three dots beside the project you would like to edit
- Click "Edit (Offline mode)
- Make any applicable edits
Important Notes
- Edits will be automatically saved to the project once completed
- You cannot add new scans to a project without being connected to your camera
