How to Connect to a Camera with the PLANIX App

Overview

The PLANIX app is your control center for both the R1 and PLANIX Pro cameras, allowing you to capture scans, manage projects, and upload data to the iGUIDE Portal. Connecting to your camera is the first step before any project can begin and is done through the app's Devices section.

This guide directs Operators to the appropriate connection workflow for their specific camera, helping ensure permissions are granted correctly so the PLANIX app can pair with the camera and begin scanning your iGUIDE project without delay.

Before You Begin

1. Install the PLANIX app on your smart device 
2. Fully charge the camera unit before use 
3. Have the camera nearby and ready to power on
