Overview
This article explains when an iGUIDE will or will not be indexed by Google, and how specific settings and view types impact search engine visibility.

iGUIDEs That Will Not Be Indexed by Google
The following settings and conditions will prevent an iGUIDE from appearing in Google search results:
Protected Mode
- iGUIDEs in Protected Mode are not indexed by Google.
Industry Types
-
iGUIDEs created under the following industry types are not indexed:
Architecture and Remodel
Insurance and Remodel
Facility Management
Unlisted Views
If an iGUIDE is locked and an unlisted view is created, it will not be indexed, even if other settings are public.
Note: An unlisted view will still not be indexed unless it is posted publicly elsewhere (e.g., linked from a public website or social media).
Address Setting and URL Behavior
Whether the address is enabled or disabled in the iGUIDE settings does not affect indexing.
This is because the default view URL does not include the property address (for all industries other than Real Estate).
