Logging into the iGUIDE Portal for the First Time
To upload iGUIDEs, you must activate your account using the invitation sent to the email address used to purchase your camera. If you skip this step or use a different email, you won’t have the necessary permissions to create iGUIDEs.
There are two ways to get access to an iGUIDE Portal account:
-
Invited:
- If you purchased a camera, or you were invited as a sub-account, or you were invited as an editor you will receive an email asking you to confirm your account. To set this up click on the link of the invitation email, set up a password, and then you will be logged into the iGUIDE portal.
-
Account Creation:
- The second way to create an account is to simply go to the login screen for the iGUIDE portal, and select "Create Account". From here you will need to supply your name, email, and a password for your account, and then you will receive an email to validate your account.
- Once validated you will be able to log into the portal, however without a camera attached to your account (either by being the manager of the camera, being an editor for the camera owner, or a sub-account for a camera owner) you will not be able to create iGUIDEs.
