How to set up up your ION Directory Profile
Before You Begin
- Make sure you have a Google Business Profile with a physical business address.
Steps
Step 1: Go to ion.goiguide.com and click "Join ION Directory"
Step 2: Click on “Become and ION Member”
Step 3: Enter your business email address
- Note: The business email must match your iGUIDE Portal account email
Step 4: Click the secure link sent to your email to access your profile setup
Step 5: Connect your Google Business Profile
- Your profile must have a physical business address to maximize visibility.
- Don’t have one? Create your Google Business Profile.
Step 6: Complete your profile details
- Industry, service area, number of PLANIX camera systems, services offered

The iON Directory uses two special designations—National Provider and Top Provider—to highlight high‑volume operators and improve search relevance for end users. National Provider Badge
Definition and Eligibility
The National Provider badge is reserved for operators that offer full nationwide coverage within their respective country.
Eligibility details:
- Coverage must span the entire country, not just multiple states or regions.
- Eligibility is confirmed by the iGUIDE team and the badge is applied once verified.
Impact
The National Provider badge has the strongest influence on search ranking within the iON Directory:
- When a National Provider serves the searched location, they appear at the very top of the results list.
- This means they rank above both Top Providers and standard providers.
- The badge acts as a top‑tier trust and visibility indicator, signaling broad availability and strong service capacity.
Top Provider Badge
Definition and Eligibility
The Top Provider badge recognizes operators with the highest production volume over the previous two quarters.
Eligibility criteria:
- Awarded to the top 100 operators based on total billed square footage from the prior two consecutive quarters.
- Some operators on the Top 100 list may not have an active iON Directory listing, and therefore the badge will not display publicly for them.
Impact
The Top Provider badge provides enhanced visibility within the directory:
- Top Providers appear above standard providers in search results.
- They rank below National Providers, but still receive priority placement in their service area.
- The badge highlights high production volume and indicates strong operational performance.
