Blurring Tool
About: Automatic Blurring & Manual Blurring Tool
When enabled on a new iGUIDE (created after July 17th, 2024), this automatic blurring tool blurs faces when detected in panoramas, enhancing the privacy and professionalism of your content.
Additionally, the manual blurring tool will be available for all iGUIDEs, no matter their creation date, allowing greater flexibility and control over your image editing process.

(1) - Floor and pano selector. (2) - Total Blurs & Pending Changes (in this session). (3) - Blur area resize, hover over, and grab the blur to move it around the pano. (4) - Delete selected blur. (5) - Delete ALL Blurs in the selected pano, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion. This can be reversed until you select (8) Apply Changes. (6) - Get Started guide. (7) - Hide all blurs; only hide the blurred areas on the blur tool. (8) - Apply Changes - commits all edits to the iGUIDE. (9) - Clear Changes - cancels all changes made in the active session.
To create a blurred section of the Pano, place your cursor in the top left corner of the area, click, and drag over the intended subject.
If required, select and drag the corners of your area to cover the subject, or click in the center to move around.
Once completed, select Apply Changes; you will be prompted to commit the changes.
After a short while, you will see a message stating: Your changes have been successfully applied. See the video below for an example; click to enlarge.
When using the blurring tool on panoramic images displayed in a rectangular format, certain objects may be split across the pano edges, causing an area with no blur (where the pano fuses). To effectively create a blur mask for such objects, follow these steps:
Create Two Mask Shapes: Draw two separate blur mask shapes around the object, ensuring that each shape extends off the edges where the object appears split.
Tip: If you created an iGUIDE and enabled the Automatic Face Blurring feature on iGUIDE Creation, you can modify the blurs or add additional ones here.
