What is the Blurring Tool?
The blurring tool is a way to create a blurring effect on your iGUIDE's 3D tour to hide sensitive information. This is a feature that can add privacy and professionalism to your content.
Where do I Find the Blurring Tool?
Step 1: Log into the iGUIDE portal.
Step 2: Click on the name of the iGUIDE you wish to edit in the My iGUIDEs section.
Step 3: On the left hand side click on the "Blurring Tool" section of your iGUIDE.
How do I Use the Blurring Tool?
- Floor and pano selector.
- Total Blurs & Pending Changes (in this session).
- Blur area resize, hover over, and grab the blur to move it around the pano.
- Delete selected blur.
- Delete ALL Blurs in the selected pano, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion. This can be reversed until you select (8) Apply Changes.
- Get Started guide.
- Hide all blurs; only hide the blurred areas on the blur tool.
- Apply Changes - commits all edits to the iGUIDE.
- Clear Changes - cancels all changes made in the active session.
Create a Blurred Section of the Pano
- Place your cursor in the top left corner of the area, click, and drag over the intended subject.
- If required, select and drag the corners of your area to cover the subject, or click in the center to move around.
- Once completed, select Apply Changes; you will be prompted to commit the changes.
- After a short while, you will see a message stating: Your changes have been successfully applied.
What is Automatic Face Blurring?
Automatic Face Blurring can be enabled during the Create iGUIDE process. This feature uses AI to detect faces in pano images and automatically blur them to help protect privacy.
Important Notes:
Automatic Face Blurring does not apply to still photographs of faces.
Because this feature is AI-based, it may not detect every face. If any areas are missed, you can use the Blur Tool to manually blur them.
