Overview
Managing the details of a published iGUIDE allows you to keep listings accurate, flexible, and tailored to different audiences as a property's circumstances change. From the iGUIDE Portal, you can duplicate views to create multiple versions of a tour, update the property address and Google Map pin, or change the iGUIDE URL to better match the listing.
These tools give you the flexibility to refine each iGUIDE long after publication, helping you maintain a polished and accurate presentation.

Duplicating an iGUIDE View
Similar to Unlisted Views, Protected Views, and Viewer Lists, duplicating iGUIDE Views allows you to create multiple editable versions of an iGUIDE, each with its own unique URL.
Common reasons to duplicate a view include:
- Limiting what is shown within an iGUIDE View, such as separating apartment units while keeping a single view of the entire building
- Providing different views for different audiences, such as one for clients showing all panos and another for the public showing fewer
- Documenting renovation stages by separating each phase of construction into its own iGUIDE View
To duplicate or create a new view:
- Log into the iGUIDE Portal
- Click the title of the iGUIDE you wish to edit in the "My iGUIDEs" section to open the "Show iGUIDE Details" page
- Click the Duplicate button
- Wait for confirmation, then use the dropdown menu to choose which Duplicate View to work with
- Edit the duplicate independently from the original, adjusting visible floors, panos, or other elements as needed
Example use case: An apartment building with three units could be set up as follows:
- Main iGUIDE View - all floors showing for internal use
- View 2 - shows only Unit 1, with Units 2 and 3 hidden
- View 3 - shows only Unit 2, with Units 1 and 3 hidden
- View 4 - shows only Unit 3, with Units 1 and 2 hidden
This structure lets you lock the specific view for a rented unit without affecting the main iGUIDE or the other unit views.
Note: Duplicating a view copies all current settings, including panos, labels, and floors, but the new view is not linked to the original. Any further changes to the duplicate are independent and can be refined further.
Changing the iGUIDE Address and Google Pin
To update the property address and the location pin shown on the map:
- While viewing your iGUIDE Portal entry, click "Show iGUIDE Details" in the top-left of your screen to return to the iGUIDE Details page
- Click the blue Edit button to the right of the Property Address to open the Edit Property page
- Enter the new property address
- Under the Map preview, select the "Auto" function to update the map pin location to the new address
- Click Save when done
Note: Google Maps may not always place the pin accurately for newly built or remote properties. To position it manually, untick the "Auto" option and drag the pin to your preferred location.
Changing the iGUIDE URL
Changing the iGUIDE URL means any place the previous URL was shared, such as websites, social media, or MLS services, will need to be updated, as the old URL will no longer work.
To change the URL:
- Click "Show iGUIDE Details" in the top-left of the screen to return to the iGUIDE Details page
- Click the small blue pencil icon in the top-right corner of the page beside the iGUIDE URL
- On the Edit Alias for Default View page, enter your preferred iGUIDE URL to match the new address
- Click the blue Save button to the right of the text field to save the changes
Note: It is recommended to re-send the iGUIDE Report after updating the URL to ensure the correct links are shared. Open the iGUIDE View Report tab on the left-hand side of the page and click the blue Send button to send the updated report.
