Capture Scenarios
This page is intended to assist you in capturing multile property layout scenarios.
Garages:
Capturing a garage on a different elevation
To capture a garage that is only accessible via another floor, we recommend capturing the garage on the floor it is attached to.
If a garage access point is on a different level, but the garage itself sits next to the main floor, without a connection to the main floor, please ensure you collect exterior scans so that the team can accurately place the Garage in relation to the main floors' building.
Capturing a detached garage
If a Garage is not attached to the main property, you will need to collect the data on a new floor. At this time iGUIDE does not support Site-Plans, therefore we can not have 2 buildings on one floor.
Stair Landings:
Which Floor do Stair Landings Belong on
When capturing a stair landing, please ensure that the scan captured on the stair landing is placed on the floor closest to it. For example, if there are ten stairs from the main floor to the landing and only three stairs from the second floor, the landing should be placed on the second floor, as that is the closest.
If the stair landing is in the middle, it is up to you to decide which floor you would like the scan to be placed on.
