iGUIDE Preview is an extension to Standard and Premium iGUIDEs that provides early access to the benefits of floor plan-based virtual tour navigation while waiting for professional drafting services to be completed. Powered by computer vision and deep learning AI models, with iGUIDE Preview, customers can get delivery of their virtual tour and interactive floor plan within minutes of completing an iGUIDE property scan, often before they have left the property. You can choose to publish this tour directly for your clients, use it to enable internal workflows and gain efficiencies, or wait to receive the full iGUIDE within 24 hours. Fully automated processing allows expedited delivery of property marketing assets within the Residential Real Estate market and supports instant property damage assessment reports within the Insurance and Restoration market.
Certain features within the Standard iGUIDE will not be available for iGUIDE Preview due to the fact that the iGUIDE has not been manually drafted, QA’d, or checked for correct data alignment prior to generation. In a nutshell: this is intended for preview and workflow enhancement purposes only, we do not recommend using the iGUIDE Preview to collect measurement data via the measurement modes, nor placing tags during this stage, as the data is subject to change during the drafting process.
Below we have provided a brief comparison between iGUIDE Preview and iGUIDE Standard features. Important differences are highlighted.
During BETA testing, iGUIDE Preview will be available to all Operators on iGUIDEs of 75 scans or less submitted to the iGUIDE Portal. See the below instructions for the iGUIDE Preview process flow:
Although iGUIDE Preview is currently limited to 75 scans, you can still create an iGUIDE and upload Stitch Data with over 75 scans. However, your project will not be eligible for iGUIDE Preview.
When creating an iGUIDE on the iGUIDE Portal, step 6. Upload Data now provides you with the option to “Send email notification when ready” under the iGUIDE Preview header. When selected, our system will email specific people(s) once the iGUIDE Preview has been processed and is ready for viewing. The people who are eligible to receive the notification are the Stitch Data Uploader, Manager, or Primary Contact (if assigned).
NOTE: By default, the iGUIDE Preview is not publicly visible via the iGUIDE URL, allowing you the option to publish based on the generated tour.
Once the completion email is received, the iGUIDE Preview will be publishable through the iGUIDE Preview section of your iGUIDE, found under Operator Actions. The email you receive contains the link to the iGUIDE Preview page.
Once on the iGUIDE Preview page, you will have the option to A) Publish Preview or B) Upload New Stitch Data.
Publish Preview: If you choose to publish the preview, it will be immediately visible publicly via the iGUIDE URL. At this point, you can also send the limited iGUIDE Report.
Upload New Stitch Data: Some of the benefits when previewing your iGUIDE is that you may be able to see missed areas within the iGUIDE, or areas that may seem incorrect due to misaligned or misplaced data, allowing you to implement corrections or arrange for a revisit to site. Uploading a new Stitch file will cause the iGUIDE Preview to replace the current version using the newly provided data. If you selected to be notified once the iGUIDE Preview is completed, you will receive a notification each time new data is uploaded.
NOTE: Once the drafting team has claimed the file and started to work on your iGUIDE, you will no longer be able to replace the Stitch Data.
Once the iGUIDE Preview is published, you may choose to send the limited iGUIDE Report via the link provided.
Once the iGUIDE has been drafted by our team and published, the iGUIDE Preview page will no longer be accessible. You will receive the full iGUIDE Report and the Preview tour will be replaced within the iGUIDE URL.
As the preview has not been through drafting, you may find the visuals of the floorplan are not as expected; floor-to-floor orientation, excess wall data and staircase generation are a couple of examples. Remember, this is not the final product, so there is no reason to be concerned.
Currently, iGUIDE Preview is optimised for:
Well Aligned Data
Real Estate Transaction
North American Properties
Should you wish to ensure the iGUIDE Preview is as accurate as possible, there are a couple of steps we recommend you complete prior to submitting your project data, as below.
Precise laser data alignment within Survey or Stitch is imperative for the system to generate an iGUIDE Preview that accurately represents the property.
Separate floors correctly and ensure that multiple buildings are not on one floor. iGUIDE Does not support site plans.
The rotation of the submitted data plays a factor in how the iGUIDE 3D Tour and PDF floor plans are presented, therefore we recommend ensuring that where possible your data is rotated to portrait orientation and that all floors are oriented to each other.
When documenting a property in Survey, correctly orient the first scan on each floor using the “Align” tool on the Survey screen, each consecutive scan will then snap to this orientation.
Within Stitch, you can complete this task by pressing “F” and rotating all scans, followed by using the “Square up tool”, and repeating on each floor.
