Alignment: Ensure global alignment of scans, including exterior shots, to accurately represent property layout and dimensions.
Camera Height: Position the camera lens at approximately 5 ft for consistent and optimal scans, avoiding heights below 3 ½ ft or above 6 ft.
Camera Leveling: Maintain a level camera, avoiding noticeable tilting. Avoid handheld shooting for consistent results.
Obstruction: Avoid capturing individuals or obstructions (e.g. furniture, wall decorations) in shots, especially around door frames. Minimize movement during shooting to prevent motion blur.
Wall Visibility (Coverage): Ensure lidar coverage for each wall. Move curtains for windows covering wall segments to obtain accurate data.
Doors: Ensure clear visibility of the door frame from at least one side. Capture fully open doors for accurate representation.
Windows: Capture entire windows with visible frames, ensuring blinds, shutters, or curtains are wide open.
Closet and Small Spaces: Open closet doors and take scans of small spaces especially if the space makes up a portion of the perimeter walls of the property. Remove obstructions from the space when/if necessary.
Pano Distribution: Take new scans approximately every 13 ft, avoiding being more than 18 ft from relevant features. Ensure adequate line-of-sight and scan overlap between scans.
Scan Positions: Avoid shooting too closely to complex features. Capture extra shots from a distance to ensure accurate representation.
Outside Spaces: Include balconies, porches, and decks in scans. Capture railings if present for a comprehensive representation.
Room-Naming: AI will not override user-set room names.
Mirrors: AI detects and masks mirrors, ensuring they don't cover more than 1/3 of the camera's horizontal field of view.
Clear Views of Features: Ensure at least one scan provides a clear and comprehensive view of crucial elements like doors, windows, premium objects, and stairs.
