To request an update, see Updating an iGUIDE.
In January of 2023, the Request an Update tool was added to the iGUIDE Portal. The new method creates a task that is directly added to the iGUIDE Drafting Team’s processing queue and allows you to report an error on an iGUIDE directly to the iGUIDE Portal, mostly eliminating intervention by the iGUIDE Support Team.
If you encounter an error when using the Request an Update tool, instead create a support ticket and send your error report via the Support Desk. Reporting an Error on an iGUIDE:
To report an error on an iGUIDE, first of all, navigate to the iGUIDE in question via the manage.youriguide.com portal, and click on the iGUIDE Details button (1). See Figure 1.
On the left-hand Quick Access toolbar, you will now see the option to Request an Update Select this within your iGUIDE to access the update request form. See Figure 2.
Once you are on the Request an Update page, you will have a number of options to select from. See Figure 3.
Show iGUIDE (1) - this allows you to review the iGUIDE whilst requesting the update, as a handy reference.
Request an Update (2) - see below the “How to” for examples of usage.
Report an error (3) - Let us know of an error that needs correcting on your iGUIDE.
When reporting an error, you will be prompted to provide information on the error you wish to report. See Figure 4. You are able to select multiple options in reference to your request (4). If something is not listed, select Something else (5) and enter a description of the error (6).
Please provide as much detail as possible, and if attainable, provide a screenshot of the affected area in the Upload Images section.
Note: Before reporting an error, please ensure that the file you submitted contains sufficient Stitch data of the affected area. If you have not provided sufficient Stitch data of the affected area then instead please request an update. If you are unsure if you have provided sufficient data, consider creating a support ticket. Any error reported that is actually found to be an update request will be duly deprioritized.
Once you have provided the error details, you will need to supply us with the affected floor(s) (7) and then select Request Update (8) to submit your error report.
