How Do I Replace a Pano Image?
Editing your pano images in your iGUIDE Tour can be done on the Portal by visiting the Replace Pano Images section. Pano image replacement can only be done after the iGUIDE is published. You might need to edit the panos for reasons like:
- The images contain any personal or sensitive information that the homeowner does not want to be seen by the public.
- The images contain people, animals, or objects (such as the tripod) that interfere with the visuals within the iGUIDE.
The process for replacing pano images is as follows:
Step 1: Log into the iGUIDE portal.
Step 2: Go to the "My iGUIDEs" section.
Step 3: Click the blue Edit button on the iGUIDE View you wish to modify.
Step 4: On the left-hand side of the screen, under Operator Actions, click the Replace Pano Images.
Step 5: In the preview iGUIDE, select the green or red dot representing the pano that you need to edit, and confirm the pano in the preview to the right.
Step 6: Once confirmed, Scroll down to the pano image and click the Download icon in the middle of the image.
- Tip: Keep a copy of the original image as a backup!
Step 7: Edit the pano using the software of your choice.
- IMPORTANT: sRGB colour profile is required for iGUIDE panos. The ratio for the image should remain at 2:1 (width to height) with a resolution of 7200x3600 pixels and 10Mb file size for a PLANIX system and 11008x5504 for the R1 system.
Step 8: Once you have finished editing the pano, follow the instructions displayed in the grey box under the Uploaded Images heading by Dragging & Dropping or clicking to browse the image.
Step 9: Confirm that you have uploaded the correct images, and click the blue Save button.
Step 10: Double-check the images you are uploading, then click the blue Submit button.
