The Xactimate ESX feature is a paid add-on within the iGUIDE platform.
Xactimate is software used by insurance adjusters, contractors, and other professionals to estimate the costs of repairing or replacing damages to buildings and structures. It uses a library of pre-built data to create accurate estimates quickly and saves them in the ESX file format. These files can include information about the scope of work, materials used, and costs associated with the project. They allow for easy sharing and editing by other users with access to the software.
The steps to gain access to your ESX file are as follows:
For new iGUIDEs:
Check the Xactimate ESX paid add-on checkbox when creating your iGUIDE.
Upon checking this box, you will be notified that the charge for your requested ESX file will only be processed once the file has been generated and is ready for download. Click Enable to continue.
Once you have enabled the ESX feature, another notification will pop up asking you if you would like to request the ESX file to be sketched and ready within 24 hours or if you would prefer to have it ready at a later time. Click “Request ESX” or “Not Yet,” depending on your desired outcome. If you have clicked “Request ESX,” you can skip step 5 on this list.
Navigate to your iGUIDE on the portal once published, click on the Xactimate ESX tool.
