Be extremely careful when making changes, as a bad preset may reduce the quality of all of the images.
1) Open up Stitch and load up your project. (Refer to step 1 in Figure 1)
2) Click on the wizard hat (keyboard shortcut: "A"). (Refer to step 2 in Figure 1)
The preset you are saving is disconnected from what you see on the image. For example, if after clicking on the Auto Color button, you are provided with +15 in the brightness tab, and you personally need another +10 brightness added on (resulting in +25 brightness), you should set the brightness to +10. The Presets are to help you store the values you constantly add to the images after the Auto Coloring has been applied to reduce the time required to make the necessary changes.
3) Open an image; first, click "Reset" beside equalize. Afterward, you can change the temperature, brightness, contrast, and saturation according to the offsets you want to be applied on top of Planitar's Auto Color corrections. (Refer to step 3 in Figure 2.)
Planitar expects that minimal adjustments to the temperature, brightness, contrast, and saturation may be required after the Auto Color feature is used. If the user changes other sliders or makes adjustments greater than 20 steps, it is likely that presets are being misused, and color artifacts and lower image quality may result as a consequence.
4) Once you have found your desired changes, you can save a preset to set 1, 2, or 3 and press the save button under "presets". (Refer to step 4 in Figure 2)
5) Once you have saved the preset, you can test out the preset on the current pano to see how it looks. To test it out, you must select "Auto Color" and then click "Load" to load your preset onto the image. Afterwards, confirm that this is the result you wanted to see, and you no longer have to change the current image. Once you are satisfied with your changes, you can click on Done. (Refer to step 5 in Figure 2)
If you have the clipboard selected in the "Presets" section, you will see "Copy" and "Paste," whereas if you have a Set chosen in the "Presets" section, you will see "Save" and "Load."
If unsure, you can always click "Auto Color" to restore Planitar's Default settings to the image.
1) Open up Stitch and load up your project. (Refer to step 1 in Figure 1)
2) Click on the wizard hat (keyboard shortcut: "A"). (Refer to step 2 in Figure 1)
3) Select the preset that you would like to apply, click on "Auto Color" at the bottom right of the presets section, and once selected, press the "Load" button to apply the changes. (Refer to step 3 in Figure 3)
Presets Only work when applied on top of Planitar's auto adjustments (which are always applied automatically by default). If you have reset or made any adjustments, Auto Color should be clicked before applying a preset.
However, with an R1 system, the image processing takes place when you first take the image, so Auto Color does not need to be pressed.
4) Once that has been applied to one image, click on "Next Pano" and apply the desired preset again. (Refer to step 4 in Figure 3)
The Paste to All button is used to paste the selected preset settings onto all images. This is a slow operation that may take some time, and this operation will only work if the scans are using Planitar's Default Settings (The ones resulting from clicking the "Auto Color" feature, which is automatically applied on importing the project into Stitch). If the panos have been edited and are no longer on Planitar's Default Settings, it is very likely that presets won't work as expected, and may reduce image quality.
5) Keep going until you have applied the preset for all images as needed.
Each time you load in a preset, it will stack the changes on top of the previous preset. If you have applied the preset too many times, click "Auto Color".
1) Open up Stitch on your PC.
2) Click on Settings (2nd from the far right, or the keyboard shortcut is "W"). (Refer to step 2 in Figure 4)
3) Under "Import" select which Preset you would like to set. (Refer to step 3 in Figure 4)
4) Click "Ok" to save your changes, and the Preset will auto-import every time you import a project. (Refer to step 4 in Figure 4)
