In this video we visually walk you through the features of the new iGUIDE PLANIX camera, showing you where you can find key areas.
The Ricoh THETA Z1 is located at the top of the PLANIX system and is used as the camera. You have the ability to purchase with or without the Ricoh THETA Z1, allowing the flexibility to bring your own camera if you have one.
Next, we indicate where you can find the lidar laser on the device. This is what is used to take all of the laser data measurements. Below the lidar is a recessed area where you can find the USB port.
Further down from the USB port is a basic UI including the power button and system status LEDs. On the underside of the device, you will find the system’s charging port, the ¼ inch mounting screw hole (where you will attach your tripod connector plate) as well as the system battery access hatch.
