Step 4 – Connecting to PLANIX & Opening Survey

The purpose of this video is to show you how to connect your smart device to PLANIX as well as how to open the Survey app on your device.

On an apple device:

1. Click the settings button on the home screen.

2. Select WiFi.

3. Select the camera. It will be named planix-XXXXXX.

4. Enter your password (this is your camera’s serial number)

5. Open Safari.

6. Enter the URL 192.168.5.1 into the URL bar and load it.

7. When the survey app has loaded tap the share button (box with arrow).

8. Select Add to Home Screen to create an icon on the home screen for easy access.

On an android device:

1. Select WIFI from settings.

2. Choose the camera. It will be named planix-XXXXXX.

3. Enter your password (this is your camera’s serial number)

4. Open Google Chrome and enter the numbers 192.168.5.1 into the URL bar.

5. When the survey app has loaded tap the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.

6. Select Add to Home Screen to create an icon on the home screen for easy access.
