This article will explain how to import your Project into Stitch
Stitch is used to open, make changes to, and export for your iGUIDE Projects, so that you can upload the data to the Portal once the changes have been made.
To open your Project in Stitch, after making a copy of the Project Folder on your computer follow the below steps:
Open Stitch on your computer.
Click on the far left icon at the top menu to Load your Project.
Find the entire Project Folder on your computer, click on it one time, and click the Open button at the bottom of the menu. (If you see folders with the floor names, you have accidentally clicked into the folder, please go out of the project folder, and ensure to only click on it one time to select it and then click open).
The Project will open in Stitch, and you can now make any edits before exporting your Project Folder.
After making all of the necessary changes to your project in Stitch, you can export it. Once exported, you can provide the exported data to the Portal so the iGUIDE can begin processing. Please follow the below steps to export the Project.
After making all of the changes to your iGUIDE, please save your data first by clicking on the second button from the very left on the top menu in Stitch.
Click the third button from the left in the top menu in Stitch to Export the Project. If you receive any errors, you will have to fix them before you can export the project. Click here for a list of Common Errors found when exporting from Stitch and how to fix them.
Wait for the export bar to get to 100%.
When done, your new Stitch .TAR file will be available to upload to the Portal inside your project folder, in a new folder labeled "_Export".
If you are receiving an error when attempting to export, you will have to fix the error before you can export the project from Stitch. For more information on this topic, please refer to our Common Errors article.
